Hi everyone, I want to wish you all health and happiness as we ring in the New Year!
I feel compelled to write this post as the last day of 2021 concludes. Another year gone by… another year to reflect… another year to struggle and another year to look for a bright side (no matter how difficult). All we can do is try and move forward. That's really my theme for this post... "Moving forward". While the live show continues to be on hold, I've spent the last year deeply reflecting on the fate of this project. I've spent countless hours pondering, looking deep into my soul, and asked: "What is the best way to keep moving forward and share my father’s story?" I think I figured it out. I'm beyond excited to say that in 2022 I will create, and chronologically release (on YouTube), online musical stories in video format of my father's entire Journey Home. The videos will include all music and illustrations as developed for the live show (including recorded interviews of my father courtesy of the USC Shoah Foundation). Throughout the year, I will post links, highlights (and a few cool surprises) right here on this blog...so keep a look out! And it all starts next month on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on January 27, 2022. I can truly say that for me, this is the best way to keep "Moving Forward" and share my father's story in hopes that it will inspire others. Happy New Year everybody. Wishing you all only the very best for 2022! Love, Adi |
